4 channels 6 Channels Load Cells Junction Box Operation Manual
Introduction
It is very difficult to have load cells get the same rated output and output resistance during the production. So we need to do some small adjustment at installation site. Junction box like a no power resistance network, it provides each connected load cell with a precise and adjustable resistance. Connect in parallel with load cell output end. When you adjust the resistance in the box it also changes the load cell output resistance. Thus, you can make each load cell output resistance can be adjusted in a small range in one weighing system and make the weight system in balance.
Connecting Method
1. J1~J8 terminals are input, connecting to load cells.
2. Under each terminal there is a connecting mark. From left to right are "+E","-E","GND","+S","-S" The mark means as follows:
"+E" "+En"-load cell power supply positive end(load cell input+)
"-E" "-En" -load cell power supply negative end(load cell input-)
"GND" -shield cable
"+S" "+Sn"-load cell signal positive end(load cell output+)
"-S" "-Sn" -load cell signal negative end(load cell output-)
Adjustment
Check each potentiometer size if they are same under the condition of no power supply. The junction box has been calibrated before shipping. Usually, connecting the consistent
Attentions
- The load cells should be the same model, same input resistance, output resistance and close rated output. (make rated output error under millesimal)
- After adjustment must screw the waterproof connector tightly and fasten the junction box cover make sure sealing well.
- When wiring must compress the connector make sure the wiring connecting effective.
- The potentiometers are all in middle value when leave factory, if angular difference can not adjust well, please adjust resistance small relevantly.
Warnings
Please connecting the junction box according to the circuit indicate, do not connect them wrong. The thread hole on the junction box side is for high voltage grounding discharge.
